Geeps and Cadillacs

Two new engine add-ons are now available on my website: a Boston & Maine GP9 4-pack, and a Chicago, Burlington & Quincy SD7/9 8-pack. The CB&Q add-on is a joint effort of Micheal Calvin and Dan Vystrcil of Virtual Rail Creations and myself.

Doodlebug Cab

Adding details to the engine block. This is the camera view from the engineer's seat (yes, they really sat that close to the engine on the real MW #31). Must have been quite a noisy and smelly work place, health and safety regulations sure have come a long way since then.

Revisiting an old model

The model of Montana Western #31, an EMC "Doodlebug" Gas-Electric railcar, was one of my earlier models in Railworks, which clearly shows when comparing it to more recent rail vehicle models. An update was needed and has been started last night. The screenshots below show the updated exterior model of the Doodlebug, with tweaked textures, new wheels, better shaders and material settings in use.

Finally! SOU/CofG SD9s Ready for Release

After several delays and a couple of puzzling last minute bugs they are finally ready for release: the Southern Ry. / Central of Georgia (post-merger) SD9s. Textures and idea for those two beauties by Harry Adkins -- thanks!
